The paved greenway around Lake Pine at Apex Community Park will be resurfaced late this summer. Portions of the greenway (about half at one time) will be closed beginning August 6th. We anticipate several weeks of work until the project is complete, depending on weather and other factors.

The Apex Community Park greenway is one of our most popular walking trails, and was last resurfaced in the early 2000's. Since then, the greenway has experienced some cracking due to root growth and regular use, as well as erosion along the shoulder of the path.
