Registration will be held online and at the Apex Community Center (53 Hunter Street). Apex residents begin registration at 9:00am on September 23 and non-residents begin registration 9:00am on October 7. For those registering in person, there will be a lottery at 8:45am on the first day of registration to determine line order. For online registration, new participants will need to create an account prior to enrolling. Returning participants should contact the Apex Community Center (919) 249-3402 for their account info. League age is based on a player’s age on February 28, 2020.

- 7-8 Pee Wee Girls
- 9-10 Mite Boys
- 9-10 Mite Girls
- 11-12 Major Boys
- 11-12 Major Girls
- 13-14 Junior Boys (Sunday games) 13-15 Junior Girls
- 15-16 Senior Boys (Sunday games)

About Youth Basketball
The 7-8 age divisions will play with 8 1/2-foot baskets and the 9-10 age divisions will play with 9-foot baskets. All other age groups will play with 10-foot baskets.
Practices begin the week of November 11. Teams will practice once each week on rotating weeknights. Games will be on Saturdays with the exception of the leagues noted above. Games begin December 7. Season runs through the end of February.

Family Basketball Ham Toss
Join us for the Family Basketball Ham Toss! Family members join teams to shoot foul shots with a chance to win a holiday ham.
This event will be held at the Apex Community Center on Tuesday, December 17. Teams consist of 2 members of the same family, 1 adult (age 18 or older) and 1 child (17 and under). The winning team from each age division is that which holds the highest number of points when the scores of both participants from all 3 rounds are totaled.
Handicaps will be given to the youngest age divisions. Maximum of 1 prize ham per family. No preregistration is necessary and this event is free.
