The Town of Apex offers several different youth sports throughout the year. Our programs provide participants with a fun, social experience, along with a chance to learn and grow through team and individual play.

Get Involved. Volunteer to Coach!

Our volunteer coaches are the face of our youth athletic programs. They lead practices and games throughout the season. Most leagues have one practice each week and a game on Saturday. Some leagues will also have games on Sundays or during the week.

All of our coaches are trained and certified through the National Youth Sports Coaches Association (NYSCA). All volunteers are required to complete a background check before participating in any practices or games. Find a list of crimes (PDF) that will exclude someone from being approved as a coach.
