ART IN CHILDREN’S LITERATURE ~ NATURAL WONDERS & IMAGINATIVE ADVENTURES!
Ages: 5-8 yrs.
This program offers the opportunity to learn about 3 beloved authors and to create projects in the style of the artwork in their books. We will create: a beautiful pop-up butterfly with paint/mixed media (Eric Carle), 3D papercraft magical monsters and masks (Maurice Sendak), and a gallery of miniature paintings based upon students’ unique interpretations of a simple shape (Peter Reynolds).
