Submit Comment for Public Forum or Public Hearing - Virtual Meeting

Please note: Both January 2022 Council meetings will be held virtually

In the event that the Town Council meeting is held remotely or with at least one member attending virtually, written comments may be submitted up to 24 hours prior to the scheduled time of the meeting per NCGS §166A-19.24 according to the methods specified below.

Comments submitted for Public Forum and Public Hearings for Virtual Council Meetings will be posted at 5:00 p.m. the day of the scheduled meeting. View comments for the January 25th Virtual Regular Town Council Meeting. 


Submit Comment for Public Forum 

  • If you are unable to attend an in-person meeting, you may provide a written statement, at least two business days prior to the Town Council vote, by: 
    • Email to public.forum@apexnc.org
    • Mail or hand-delivery to the Deputy Town Clerk, Tesa Silver (73 Hunter Street or USPS mail - P.O. Box 250, Apex, NC 27502)
  • You must provide your name and address for the record. The written statements will be delivered to the Town Council members prior to their vote. 

Submit Comment for Public Hearing

  • If you are unable to attend an in-person meeting, you may provide a written statement, at least two business days prior to the Town Council vote, by:
    • Email to public.hearing@apexnc.org
    • Mail or hand-delivery to the Deputy Town Clerk, Tesa Silver (73 Hunter Street or USPS mail - P.O. Box 250, Apex, NC 27502)
  • You must provide your name and address for the record. The written statements will be delivered to the Town Council members prior to their vote. Please include the name of the public hearing topic in the email subject line.

Residents are still encouraged to contact their elected and appointed representatives directly via email as needed.
